We opened Café Valence for a simple reason: good coffee brings people together, and the village deserved a place built around that.
Good coffee, done properly
Everything starts with the coffee. We pull our house blend to order, brew filter through the morning and whisk ceremonial matcha the way it should be. Simple, thoughtful and never pretentious.
The bakes land warm each morning: sausage rolls, croissants and a counter of confectionery that rarely makes it to lunch. Baked this morning, gone by lunch.
Swing by, slow down and stay awhile.
Stay for one more
We built the room to be lingered in — a table to work at, a corner to read in, a spot to catch up with a friend. Free wi-fi, dogs welcome, and no one hurrying you out the door.
Order from your table and we'll bring it over. Less queueing, more staying — that's rather the point of a local.
