Your booking details.

When you book a Café Valence event, we use your contact details to arrange your booking and send booking messages. We collect the first name of each attendee, their breakfast choice where applicable, and the number of accompanying adults.

Dietary and allergy notes

These notes are optional. With your consent, we use them to prepare for the event and share them with the café team who need them. Please only give details relevant to the event, and have permission to provide details for other people.

For ingredient or allergy questions, email us before booking.

Payments and booking emails

Stripe processes payments and refunds. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page. Attendee names and dietary notes stay in the private booking database and are not added to Stripe payment metadata.

Booking emails are delivered using Resend. They include your event details and a private link to manage your booking. Keep that link private: anyone with it can view or cancel your booking.

Who can see your details

Authorised café staff can access your booking and the event guest list. Booking records are stored in a private PostgreSQL database. Contact details, attendee names and dietary notes are scheduled for deletion 90 days after the session. Separate payment records remain with Stripe under its retention policy.
